The 23rd edition of the Val de Lorraine Classic launched the opening of the classic enduro season in France. The weather was capricious, very changeable, and unpredictable during both days. The 350 km route included 12 timed special stages. Antoine Magain finished second on his Sherco 300 SE Factory at the Val de Lorraine Classic in France to open his 2024 campaign.
Antoine Magain, who came as a guest, demonstrated that he was a competitor who thrived on this kind of course at the Val de Lorraine Classic in these conditions. He finished second in the general classification.
Antoine Magain: “I am happy with this second place after a weekend in such wet conditions. The stages were very slippery. It was difficult to find traction and to keep pace with the first two riders who were classics specialists. I fought until the end and managed to win two great stages on
Sunday which allowed me to finish second overall. It was really close until the end with Alexis Beaud who had a very good weekend!
