Quality riding gear is something that often goes underrated but once you step into a set of high-end riding apparel you appreciate why it can be so expensive. Things like the knees, hips and elbows all stretch where they’re meant to meaning they fit like a glove and typically, nothing breaks. This Fox YTH 360 Streak Gear and Dirtpaw Glove is Jaxon’s first set of high-end apparel and he’s loving it.

The YTH 360 Streak pant has stretch panels for flexibility and they’re designed to allow for unrestricted movement thanks to the TruMotion zonal stretch fabric. They allow a great range of motion, so Jax can move freely. They are tailored specifically for kids aged six to 14 years. They also have leather knee panels for durability. These are all high-end features not found on most entry-level stuff

Similarly, the Youth 360 Streak Jersey is durable and flexible. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and looks awesome. The material feels soft, which is great against my four-year-olds skin.  Fox claim that “each stitch and panel has been purposefully integrated to enhance the garment’s strength”.

Sounds impressive and it is as not a single thread is out of place. It’s got all the other top-end stuff like a moisture-wicking fabric, vented mesh panelling for increased breathability, and a mesh collar and sleeve cuffs.

Fox didn’t miss the mark with the Dirtpaw Gloves either which are thick but still soft, comfortable and have a huge Velcro strap (bigger than any other glove) that refuses to let go when done up. This might sound like an irrelevant point but for parents out there with kids that like to stop on a ride every time their glove comes undone, you’ll know how important this is.

Jax has been running this gear for six months so stay tuned because in another six months we’ll see how it’s going.
