The former Australian Women’s Off-Road Champion and ISDE Champion is moving to the United States in 2017 to contend in the three top off-road national championships – Grand National Cross Country, National Enduro, and Sprint Enduro for the Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Performance Husqvarna team aboard a Husqvarna FC250.

Jones has come to the states before and raced selected events with great success. In her first US appearance in 2014 she won the GNCC WMX race at Ironman and also took an impressive 2nd place at WMX Motocross National in North Carolina on her off-road bike. This past season she raced three GNCC’s and had podium finishes at each event before injuring her ankle. She returned to racing at the ISDE in Spain, where she took the overall wins on day 1 and day 6 and helped the Australian women’s team clinch another Championship. The versatile rider also has wins in Australia National Endurocross, Motocross, and Super Moto as well.

“Tayla is an accomplished athlete whom we are eager to include in the KR4 line-up of riders for 2017. The women’s division traditionally receives less attention than it deserves and we are one of those teams who want to shine a spotlight on these athletes. Tayla will do extraordinary things here and we are thrilled to be able to provide her with the best equipment and technical support available in the sport of Enduro,” said Frank Keegan, Team Owner.

“I am incredibly excited to be moving to America next year to race for the KR4 Performance Husqvarna off-road team. This has been a dream of mine since I was a young kid and I can’t believe it is just around the corner. I can’t thank the team and everyone involved in making this happen enough. It is going to be a huge challenge, but I’m ready,” said Taylor Jones.
