At each and every round of the Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) and the Australian 4 Day Enduro (A4DE), Yamaha will have an equipped race truck stocked with parts, knowledge and expertise that can be utilised by primarily Yamaha Junior riders to get the most from the off-road racing.
Targeted at the younger and development riders, the ‘bLU cRU Assist’ truck will focus on the junior and Under 19 riders with emergency parts and accessories that can be sourced on site for the YZ85, YZ125 as well as the YZ250F.
An experienced race mechanic will also be on hand to offer any technical advice to Yamaha riders as well as help with any work required.
“For the past few years, I have been looking for a way to assist the younger riders in off road and the ‘bLU cRU Assist’ truck is just the start of several things we have planned for the future,” states Motorsport Manager, Ray Howard.
“In motocross, Yamaha has the world recognised Step -up program that has been very successful here in Australia with our supported race teams. Road Racing also has something similar in place with its R3 Cup, YRD and YRT supported riders and race teams but there has been no structure like that in off road.
“The ‘bLU cRU Assist’ truck is there to help riders get through the weekend and know they have the right advice and equipment to get their best result possible,” Howard ends.
The big blue truck will roll into round one of the AORC and if you are on a Yamaha and need some advice or a last minute part, be sure to swing by.
