New for 2017 and in keeping with the prestigious specification the Sherco Factory models are renowned for, the 2017 Factory models come equipped with the 48mm WP Xplor fork that boasts rebound, compression and pre-load adjustment.
“The new Factory models are the best offerings yet from Sherco,” said Sherco Australia’s Stephen Tuff. “The Xplor fork is new to Sherco for 2017 and the Sherco factory dedicated specific testing to come up with an ideal enduro setting. We’ve tested it here in Australia and it’s very, very good. Not only is the valving ideal for Australian conditions, all of the adjusters are located at the top of the fork which makes it super easy to dial in.”
The Factory models also come equipped with unique Factory graphics, blue anodised wheel rims, Pyramid anti-slip seat, solid rear brake disc and high performance exhaust systems.
The four-stroke models come fitted with Akrapovic exhaust systems with special injection mapping to suit. The two-stroke models come fitted with an FMF Gnarly Gold Series pipe and Powercore 2 silencer.
“The new Pyramid seat is fantastic,” Tuff enthused. “The seat is slightly taller and anti-slip cover is certainly effective. The styling of the Factory models is always of high quality and the Akrapovic and FMF exhaust systems really sets these models off plus you get the obvious gain in performance. There is no better sounding two-stoke on the market than the 250 SE-R and 300 SE-R. The note those FMF exhaust systems sing is pure music to any dirt bike rider’s ears.”
The recommended retail pricing for the 2017 Sherco enduro Factory models is as follows:
250 SE-R $13,090
300 SE-R $13,490
300 SEF-R $14,490
450 SEF-R $14,990
Prices include GST.
The 2017 Sherco enduro Factory models will be available from authorised Sherco Australia dealerships from the first week of May.
