Launched at a thrilling media opportunity this morning featuring Boost Mobile Ambassadors – recent premiership star, Jordan De Goey, and FMX athlete, Corey Creed together with WSX CDR rider, Luke Clout and local FMX star Cam Sinclair – the group showcased some of the high-octane action fans can expect at Marvel Stadium on November 24 & 25.

The amplified partnership from 2022 will see Boost Mobile represented in the naming designation being ‘FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) 2023 Boost Mobile Australian Grand Prix’, as well as having an extensive fan footprint at the Pit Party spanning activations including action-sports demos, an interactive ‘hot lap’ experience and signing sessions with WSX riders.

SX Global CEO, Adam Bailey was thrilled to have Boost Mobile, long-time supporters of supercross, again partnering with the championship specifically for their finale round in Melbourne.

“Having supported supercross in Australia for many years, the team at Boost Mobile threw their support behind WSX in our inaugural pilot season in 2022, and we’re delighted to take that to another level in 2023 as naming rights partner of the WSX 2023 Boost Mobile Australian Grand Prix,” said Bailey.

“We’ll beam this year’s WSX Grand Final from Marvel Stadium into over 400 million homes around the world so they can witness our riders battle it out for the FIM World Champion crowns. It’s incredibly exciting to have Boost alongside us again, and to elevate their partnership to naming rights, for the first time.”

“We love the way Boost use their partnerships to take the action to fans and you can expect nothing less in Melbourne with some exciting and fun activations being planned.”

“They are renowned for being aligned to some of the best motor and action sports athletes & teams in the world, so we’re extremely proud to be included in that fairly exclusive group and are excited to work closely to deliver a fantastic experience for our fans in November.”

Boost Mobile Founder, Peter Adderton believes WSX is going to take Supercross to the next level.

“We believe it is a true global championship that can play at the level of MotoGP and F1 in the future, bringing benefit to teams and riders, and equally their sponsors,” said Adderton.

“Today’s consumer is a global consumer who wants access to content and live sports in the palm of their hand – Boost Mobile is proud to support WSX and is looking forward to continuing our partnership with WSX.”

Fans attending the WSX 2023 Boost Mobile Australian Grand Prix at Marvel Stadium on November 24 and 25 are in for incredible night of entertainment featuring the world’s best supercross racers, live music, pyrotechnics, freestyle motocross stunts, an interactive fan zone and much, much more!
