The decision to cancel the event is due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, a new date has already been set and the weekend will run on 11-13 June next year at the legendary Green Park, Conondale.

The option to postpone till later in 2020 was not feasible as SCMCC’s schedule is locked with other events, plus Green Park’s conditions are best for vintage riding in June, which is something the SCMCC do not want to compromise and prefer to cancel and ensure 2021 is bigger and better.

SCMCC President Rod Heading said, “We thank all the off-road riding community for the support and hope we can all ride together after the Coronavirus pandemic has passed.”

“The SCMCC will try to host a community ride day when restrictions are lifted later in 2020 for riders of all bikes and ages. It’s a really tough time for individuals, businesses and families. Clubs like ours want to be here on the other side for everyone to share a ride and smile, doing what we love together for our physical and mental health.”

2020 Classic Weekend tickets purchased will automatically be refunded by SCMCC this week.

The SCMCC would like to thank their generous partners including MX Store, Shannons, Print Craft, Link International, Maleny IGA, Gall Brothers, ADB Magazine, Metalink, Transmoto, RAM Inc, Maico at Chippys, Spray Con and Performance Thumpers.
