Jonny Walker will not compete in the 2016 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo due to a leg injury sustained at the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship.

The three-time Erzberg winner had a small crash at Round 5 of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Prague, which fractured his right Fibula.

Walker competed in the final race of the championship on the injured leg but further tests have indicated that competing in an event as tough as Erzberg would lead to even greater set-back. The KTM rider made the decision to sit-out the event to allow his leg to heal.

Walker plans to be ready to race for the Red Bull Romanics in early July.
