Personal reasons have been cited for the sale by owner Paul Bower. “A motorbike park like Lochmaree takes a lot of commitment to run and, at this stage of my life, I simply can not commit enough of my time to the park,” he told ADB.
“Lochmaree is doing well and continues to attract families and riders from all over. It just needs a new owner who can dedicate enough time to the park.”
ADB has held many bike tests at Lochmaree over the years.
“ADB has been coming to Lochmaree for so many years, we have a long-standing relationship with you guys [ADB]. I remember one year the crew rocked up and it was snowing. The entire park was covered with snow so you decided to shoot photos with the bikes kicking up snow, it was a very memorable time.”
Bower says there has been strong interest from potential buyers.
Lochmaree is located on the southern rim of the Blue Mountains National Park 50 minutes south of Oberon; 50 minutes north of Goulburn; 2 hours 45 minutes from Sydney.
