There’s a new Stark VARG software update that the Swedish manufacturer is claiming is packed with several significant improvements designed to enhance range and power.

MORE RANGE

After months of developing a new motor control algorithm, Stark have improved the efficiency of the inverter and motor, thereby increasing the range of your VARG. This enhancement also reduces the operating temperatures of the entire powertrain, including the battery. Moreover, the power delivery has been refined for smoothness, a modification highly valued by their test riders during both a 35-minute intense Motocross session and in Enduro disciplines. Stark claim their test riders have achieved faster lap times in Motocross with this new power delivery setup.

MORE POWER

In response to feedback from some customers regarding achieving the full 80hp, they have slightly increased the peak power for the VARG Alpha. This model now exceeds 80hp. Whether you’re on the track or off-road, you’ll experience that enhanced power that sets the VARG Alpha apart.

VARG CRAWL MODE

Stark have also introduced the new Crawl Mode for a better user experience. With a simple long press on the map switch, you can now activate Crawl Mode, allowing you to push your bike uphill, forwards, or ride backward effortlessly, similar to the
functionality found on many E-MTBs.

Stark also wanted to make it clear that this is not the big software update they’ve been hinting at. More updates are yet
to come, so stay tuned.
